- Commerce in which AI agents interpret signals, coordinate across the journey and take defined actions based on context and outcomes.
- Commerce AI agents
- Specialised AI agents used across commerce tasks such as discovery, personalisation, fulfilment, delivery and insight.
- Delivery-aware shopping
- A shopping experience that filters or presents products based on whether they can reach a customer's address, delivery zone and time slot.
- Tiered pricing and customer rates
- Pricing logic that can include member prices, B2B contract rates, volume pricing, customer-group rates and exclusive price lists.
- Agentic checkout
- A checkout flow described by nexCommerce as detecting payment preferences, applying offers, verifying inventory and confirming an order with minimal manual steps.
- Warehouse picking optimisation
- The use of an optimised warehouse sequence to guide pickers and reduce unnecessary movement, missed items and fulfilment delay.
- Batch and wave picking
- Grouping similar orders into organised picking waves so warehouse teams can process multiple orders with fewer trips.
- Stock mismatch alert
- A signal that detects a gap between ecommerce stock and physical inventory before it causes a downstream order problem.
- Order orchestration
- The coordination of stock checking, pick prioritisation, packing and courier assignment across the fulfilment flow.
- Delivery orchestration
- The coordination of route planning, live ETA updates and proof on arrival across the last-mile journey.
- Demand forecasting and replenishment
- Prediction of which products may run low, when demand may rise and what may need replenishment before a stockout.
- Cross-journey coordination
- The sharing of signals between specialised agents so search, fulfilment, delivery and insight do not operate as isolated systems.
